Car Accidents can often be a tragic experience for all parties involved. The most common cause for any accident is negligent driving. Driving under the influence, speeding, using a cell phone, and eating, are all examples of negligence. Not only did Chaves drive under the influence, but she also drove southbound in a northbound lane, which is a clear collision waiting to happen. All drivers have a duty to drive responsibly on the road. Sadly, Chaves did not comply with that rule, which caused the death of a young woman.
It’s unfortunate that Bamford lost her life in this collision, especially because of someone else’s carelessness. Bamford’s family could pursue a wrongful death lawsuit with the help of an attorney. Although filing a case will not supplement the life of Bamford, winning this lawsuit will help Bamford’s family cover any medical and funeral expenses.
